SECURITY
Ever since the first news about the Covid19 pandemic, even before the ministerial provisions were issued to contain the spread of the virus, Teresian pharmacies have been preparing to guarantee the best possible safety for users and operators. These are the strategies we have adopted to ensure that coming to the pharmacy, even during the lockdown phase, is as safe and controlled an experience as possible.

San Raffaele Pharmacy - Cittadella
- Elaboration of a circular user route:
- access from outside to the courtyard and waiting in the open, at a distance of at least 1 m from other users
- hand treatment with disinfectant gel with a foot dispenser
- free supply of disposable polyethylene gloves to each user
- access to the interior regulated by a traffic light column, controlled by the operators inside; maximum presence of three users inside, with indication on the floor of the user-position in correspondence with each operator
- only one exit from the main automatic door, to close the one-way path of the User and always guarantee the distance between them
- Plexiglas partitions between pharmacists and users to prevent the potential transmission of viruses through the emission of saliva particles
- Pharmacists' protective clothing with headphones, goggles or alternatively face shield, FFP2 or 3 mask, lab coat, acrylonitrile gloves
- Disinfectant gels at counters, different for users and operators
- Forced air circulation by positive pressure inside the premises. The incoming air was filtered and conditioned excluding recirculation

When the lockdown was lifted, two days of scheduled closure allowed the rooms and forced air circulation ducts to be sanitised with peroxide.
The user route was returned to normal, with
- entry through the automatic door
- hand disinfection with foot dispenser / disposable polyethylene gloves provided
- automatic mask presence and body temperature check for each user
- identification of the waiting area with a minimum distance of 2 m, reduced to 1 m at the counters for parallel stations, until the stations are saturated
- use of the cosmetics counter for a total of 5 user stations in the pharmacy - bi-daily self-monitoring of staff temperature, periodic self-monitoring of antibodies with serological tests.

Bellini Pharmacy - Soave
- identification of a waiting area with adequate spacing outside the pharmacy
- treatment of hands with disinfectant gel with a pedal dispenser, outside the pharmacy
- free supply of disposable polyethylene gloves to each user
- (lockdown phase) access to the interior for only one user at a time, regardless of the presence of several operators
- Plexiglas partitions between pharmacists and users to prevent potential transmission of viruses through the emission of saliva particles
- Pharmacists should wear protective clothing with headphones, goggles or alternatively a face shield, FFP2 or 3 mask, lab coat, acrylonitrile gloves
- disinfectant gels at counters, different for users and operators
- bi-daily self-monitoring of staff temperature, periodic self-monitoring of antibodies with serological tests.

When the lockdown was lifted, two days of scheduled closure made it possible to sanitise the rooms and air conditioning systems with peroxide. The user route was modified, with a maximum of 2 users (one per workstation) being allowed inside the pharmacy. Pharmacists still work with a mask and gloves or hand sanitiser gel.
